Katie grew up in Logan Ohio, just 30 minutes from Ohio University where she will graduate in May. As a child she started beauty pageants fostering her love for performance. Soon after, she discovered dance, which led her into the world of musical theater. It was there that Katie developed a deep connection to comedy and became captivated by strong, complex female characters—especially those who are often overlooked.

Katie thrives in exploring and telling stories through song, dance, choreography, and acting. As a performer, she is always eager to take on new challenges and embrace opportunities for growth. She continuously strives to refine her craft with every project, class, and production she does.

In addition to performing, Katie is dedicated to teaching dance to students of all ages and skill levels. She specializes in helping beginners connect with their bodies to express storytelling through movement, creating an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome in the world of dance. Her teaching style is grounded in warmth, patience, and a keen ability to connect with students to support their individual learning journeys.
